3. Open the Media Cover

4.. Pivot the Keypad and Housing forward.

5. Unplug the Keypad and LCD ex cables from the CPU board.

Separate the Assemblies

1. Remove and retain the Radio PCB by removing the (2) screws securing it to the

Bracket, Radio. Retain the Screws. Unplug the radio from its antenna.

Always store PCB assemblies in static proof bags or containers while performing

repair procedures.

2. Remove the Bracket Radio from the Upper Housing. If you have a Printer

without a Card Reader, the Bracket is secured by two screws. If your printer

has a Card Reader Assembly installed, the Bracket is retained by four screws.

Refer to the procedure for RK17494-011 for more details.

Remove Screws reataining

the Radio PCB from the

Printer.

Store the Radio PCB in a

static proof bag or container
